Andrea Newman

Andrea has Rolfing practices in Minehead and Bristol. Andrea is interested in the nature of life and what it means to be human. She graduated with a degree in biochemistry in 1986 and since then has practised and studied many different forms of yoga and its role in stress management and the maintenance of good physical and mental health. Andrea has been teaching yoga since 1994 and runs 3-year yoga teacher training courses in Bristol, as well as in-service training workshops for yoga teachers around the country. Andrea discovered Rolfing in 2004 and became a Certified Rolfer in 2008 after training at the European Rolfing Association centre in Munich. She enjoys working with all Rolfing clients, including those who are experiencing pain and wish to address a specific issue, and also those who wish to explore more deeply the way their body is organised and to develop better posture and greater ease of movement.
