Cookie Policy

This page lists everything on www.rolfinguk.co.uk that stores information on your device or reads it back. That includes cookies and also browser storage (local storage and session storage), which the law treats the same way.

Optional items stay off until you turn them on. Saying no is as easy as saying yes, and you can change your mind at any time.

You can also use the small cookie button in the corner of every page.

Always on

These are needed for the site to work or to keep it secure, so the law does not require your consent for them.

Optional: analytics

These help us see how the site is used, so we can fix problems and improve the pages. They only run if you choose "Accept" or turn on Analytics.

Lumara Analytics

Run for us by Lumara Digital, who look after this website. It stores a session ID and the source of your visit (for example, a search engine or a campaign link) in your browser's session storage (ea_sid, ea_src, ea_med). These are deleted when you close the tab. It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other websites. It also counts clicks on phone numbers, email addresses and form submissions.

Google Analytics

Run by Google. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_MEW50MMKZR) that tell repeat visits apart. They last up to two years. Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses, and we tell it not to use your visit for advertising. Google may process this data outside the UK. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Counted without storing anything

Plausible Analytics

We also count page views with Plausible, run on servers managed by Lumara Digital. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it runs whatever you choose. It records the page, the referring site, your browser, device type and country. It does not record your IP address, and it cannot recognise you on a later visit.

Only when you ask for them

Changing your mind

Use the button at the top of this page or the cookie button on any page. If you turn something off, it stops from the next page you open. Anything a page has already loaded keeps running until you leave that page, and cookies already set stay until they expire or you delete them in your browser settings.

For how we handle personal information more generally, see our Privacy and Cookie Policy. Questions: contact@rolfinguk.co.uk.
